HOW TO USE OUR UB-TAH ONLINE RESOURCES:

In this page you will receive some suggestions on how to use our UB-TAH Online and On-Site Resources.  Please, read and follow the instructions carefully:

1. Select the "Subject" of your lesson
2. Select the tools in our UB-TAH Resources you prefer to use including artifacts

• 4th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

• 5th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

• 7th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

• 8th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

• 11th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

• 12th Grade Curriculum (Click on Picture Collection or Primary Source Documents)

3. Decide if you are going to use documents, pictures, artifacts, or maps
4. You can also use a combination of these different tools
5. Print the forms documents, pictures, artifacts, or maps according to you selection
6. If you are going to use our UB-TAH Tool Box (artifacts) contact us on time
7. Present the UB-TAH Resources or artifacts your students
8. According to your selection/s gave your students between 5-15 minutes to

• Read the document/s using the form provided

• Study the picture/s using the form provided

• Study the artifact/s using the form provided

• Study the map/s using the form provided

9. Analyze the work done with your students
10. Use your reading assignment in your text using the following strategies:

• Using a graphic organizer help your students to understand the subject deeply.  Many different reading graphic organizers can be printed free from Houghton Mifflin Education Place only for using in your classroom

• An excellent Social Studies Teaching Strategies tool was developed by the Jordan History Academy for Teachers (JHAT) Watch Video Strategies

11. Analyze the reading assignment with your students

12. At the end of your class, please,  fill-out the UB-TAH Survey.  It is a very important task that will help us to improve our Online tools
