Option A: Audio Lectures from Teaching American History.Org:

Recommendations: If your Computer is "slow" try to Defragment your Drive "C" (Instructions) or check some basic instructions on Windows XP

Suggestions: In your online audio review, you may analyze the following questions:

  • Name and year of the audio.
  • What is the purpose of the audio? (For example, to persuade, inform, question or entertain?)
  • What historic issues does the audio address?
  • What is the audio’s thesis or point of view?
  • What evident is used to support the thesis? How accurate is the evidence? Has relevant or conflicting evidence been omitted?
  • How valid is the audio’s argument?
  • What has the audio accomplished?
  • Would you like to print these instructions?

Your online audio review should be 2-4 pages (Please, check the requirements for each collection), double-spaced, 1 inch margins, in 12-point font. Please e-mail a copy to the UB-TAH program coordinator  

Please, read the instructions very carefully: Select and listen 1 (one) of the following Audio History Lectures and write a 2 (two) page paper, summarizing or outlining the lecture you listened to. If you have any question, please, contact us
